Investment Strategy
Horn focuses on investments in both listed and unlisted securities in a broad range of sectors. Furthermore, non-Icelandic securities comprise at least one-quarter of the company‘s investment portfolio.
Horn generally aims at holding a minority interest in investment projects and collaborating closely with co-investors possessing sector-specific expertise. When appropriate, Horn may act as a strategic investor, leveraging its position and financial strength to restructure and support companies in which it holds a stake - and always where such action will increase investment value for Horn's shareholders. Horn only invests in companies with a positive operating results with a track record of several years.
On-going review of the portfolio composition and following a flexible investment time frame are key factors in maximising the value of Horn's investment portfolio.
